For the second year in a row Jadralno Društvo J-24 is helping WIMRA host a Match Race Clinic in the Northern Adriatic. Check out the program and contact us to participate!!

The Women's International Match Racing Association has joined forces with North U to offer a series of introductory clinics world wide. To encourage interest in women's match racing, WIMRA will bring some of the sport's best champions, including Liz Baylis, Dave Perry and Katie Spithill, to share their expertise with the growing group of women's sailors looking to win in match racing.

As WIMRA Executive Director Liz Baylis explains, “We’ve seen a ground swell of interest in match racing and we are working to ride that wave. Our intent is to attract sailors and racers who are curious to learn about this exciting facet of our sport. At the conclusion of each clinic, we predict that they will be converted from ‘sailors’ to ‘match racers’ and be excited about joining the ranks of match racers competing around the world.”

-May 23-25 - Rochester YC, Rochester, New York, USA

-June 6-8 - Sail Sheboygan, Sheboygan, Wisconsin, USA

-June 20-22 - Milwaukee YC, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA  

-August 6-7 (as part of Northern Lights Cup) - Sail Sheboygan, Sheboygan, WI, USA

-August 15-17 - Cleanport d.o.o., Marina Izola, Izola, Slovenia

-September 5-7 - Sail Sheboygan, Sheboygan, Wisconsin, USA

-September/October (dates pending) - Hayama Marina Yacht Club, Hayama, Japan

-October (dates pending) - Busan Sailing Federation, Busan, Korea

-November or December (dates pending) - South America (location pending)
