Since the standard competition sailboats, TheOneDesign class, have been redesigned and new production has just begun, (a boat will be available for testing) this year we have chosen to use well proven fleet of J-24's.

Therefore the six competition boats for this event are going to be J-24 class sailboats, from the fleet of 10 boats owned by Cleanport d.o.o. in Izola. These boats are regularly used for national Match Race and J-24 class championships, as well as for many other monotype events in the area.

Though not the newest design, J-24 is one of the most numerous one design class keel boats in the world. Simple to sail, demanding to sail faster than the opponent. Clean deck, and for its size a lot of room for the crew, makes these sailboats quite suitable for match racing.
